Arickaree FFA Jacket Inducted into Blue Jacket Society

 Story image 1_0

The Arickaree FFA Chapter traveled to Fort Collins last Saturday to induct the Arickaree FFA Jacket into the Blue Jacket Society. The Blue Jacket Society is a foundation that supports up and coming ag teachers in the State of Colorado. They do this by using the money that individuals and chapters spend to get their Blue Jackets into the Blue Jacket Society. The group then uses that money to give out signing bonuses and other financial incentives to ag teachers. Twelve chapter members were in attendance at the Blue Jacket Society Lunch and Tyson Schneider gave a short speech about the chapter’s history, how the community made this possible, and why the Arickaree FFA Chapter inducted the jacket. Along with attending the Blue Jacket Society Lunch, the Arickaree FFA Chapter attended CSU Ag Days BBQ and Football Game. This was a great experience for chapter and community members to mingle with people in ag such as state officers, farmers, and CSU ag students. The Arickaree FFA Chapter is pleased with the result of the event and hopes this is something they can continue into the future.
